My approach as an industrial designer is underpinned by a multifaceted agenda.
Apart from my work on the object itself, since 1990 I have been regularly commissioned to devise and implement surveys in a range of fields such as town planning, regional development, communications and art applied to the urban context, and the interaction of the object and its surroundings.
As part of a multidisplinary team or independently, my work ranges from international consultations to personal research. My creations, which blend artistic design and state-of-the-art technology, are regarded both as everyday objects and as works of art in their own right.
The practical and the poetic are given equal importance. An astutely devised functional element opens the door to a personal yet accessible universe. Matter, which I consider as a subject in itself, appears and disappears as the project takes form. Sound, light and water all embody the living matter of space.
