BAYADER Leisure and outdoor bases at la Corniche des forts

One of the signage studies carried out for Leisure and outdoor bases of the Ile de France region. Between 2004 and 2008.

Team: Cécile Planchais, representative. Collaboration with Gustavo Bocaz, graphic designer. Realization in consultation with the ILEX landscape agency led by the AFTRP delegate project manager of the RIF.

CONTEXT

The Ile de France Region is launching this signage consultation during the construction and construction period of the Corniche des Forts BPAL in 2006. This landscaped arrangement of 60 hectares of wasteland and gardens converted into an Outdoor and Leisure Center, crosses 4 towns close to Paris (93): Pantin, Romainville, Les Lilas, Noisy Le Sec. A crown that follows the old forts that surrounded Paris and the old gypsum quarries. The subject involves informing and guiding what, for some activities, will not be achieved until more than 10 years later, when the BPAL is completed.

CONCEPT

The multicolored BAYADER ribbon in printed Corten steel emerges from the edge of the main path to signal activities. The exhibition site gathers and announces all the information on this project from the Ile de France region, the completion of which had to be anticipated in order to spread its completion over 10 years. A strong and colorful visual identity based on the use of handwriting, the creation of a logo in the shape of a candy, which takes the form of the BPAL. Signals rather than arrows to find your way around.

Its applications: Route and proximity signage Location of information on the entire project Signage for provisional and final routes Hazard signage…
