IRO URBO
Ecodesign, development of a new wood material in collaboration with ENSAM - National School of Arts and Crafts of Cluny. Order from Topos environnement 2006-2008
The Burgundy Region is seeking to reuse oaks and Douglas-fir trees that fell during the 1999 storm. This design study was carried out with local companies, in partnership with ENSAM in Cluny.
Re-introduce nature into the furnishings of natural spaces such as in the city. IRO is developing 7 wooden modules making it possible to compose different figures designed according to the location landscapes. The technique of curved unrolled then pressed wood, implemented within the framework of this project, made it possible to obtain curved furniture from IRO and the straight model URBO.
In 2014, I finalized and implemented it as part of my furniture design mission for the restoration of the Rohan amphitheater at the Louvre School located at the Carrousel du Louvre.
