The blue bench
First street furniture design in 1988. Edition in 1990 by EPI, the first Bouygues subsidiary. Winner of the ECM competition (Study and Creation of Furniture).
This creation marks the turning point I chose following my studies as a sculptor at ENSBA and at René Coutelle. by resuming studies in design at ECM then located at ENSCI. Le Banc Bleu has been widely publicized and has brought me the long-lasting collaborations that I still have with certain manufacturers, teams of architects, town planners and landscapers. Its success put aside my researches and productions in textile design (First International Linen Prize in 1988 in Milan) which remain at the origin of my design and the flexible shape that I imagined to make the concrete of this bench fly.
A sky-colored suspended wave, to sit and exchange more easily thanks to the distance materialized by the raised central part.
