Industrial design for ECLATEC, French manufacturer and publisher of urban lightingECLATEC is looking for a luminaire for residential spaces, adaptable to different heights and types of poles, which uses the ORALED system to meet new economic and ecological standards applicable to lighting devices to avoid light pollution.
“The design of this lyre” stretched towards the sky but delicately oriented towards the roadway, “we rediscover the primary vocation of lighting: the safety of passers-by”.
In addition to their economic and ecological qualities, LED technologies offer a precise definition of the volumes that I used here to design this lighting stick.
This slightly inclined luminaire avoids having to cap the light horizontally thanks to the adjustment of its diffuser which compensates for this inclination.
It thus offers a more open and reassuring silhouette oriented towards the roadway, its shape stands out at the rear against the shadowed sky.
